Mac McCutcheon of Capshaw to serve as chairman of House Rules Committee
Montgomery – Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard on Thursday announced that State Rep. Mac McCutcheon (R – Capshaw), a two-term legislator representing portions of Limestone and Madison counties, has been selected to serve as chairman of the body’s agenda-setting Rules Committee.
McCutcheon replaces former State Rep. Blaine Galliher, who resigned from the House in order to join Gov. Robert Bentley’s administration as legislative director.
